This picture was taken a short while before my daughter Laurel left for a new life in southern California. It was taken with my new Nikon F2S 35mm camera with a 70-210mm Vivitar series 1 lens using Kodak Ektachrome film.
I became interested in photography in 1940 at age 11 with a 49cent camera and a 15cent roll of film. Photography is my main hobby. model RC planes and model trains are also hobbies of mine. Getting too old to tinker with gardening anymore.
I'm married to my Angel Ellie. She makes me happier then all my hobbies.
My main interest in Photography is Family and friends. This is most important to me because people age so fast and before you know it there gone. I feel I need to capture that moment before then.
Landscapes will always be there although seasons change.
Wildlife pictures are nice but lack the human element. I do some flower shots but just don't enjoy them unless someone is included.
So, the human element with all the different and interesting expressions is the most important thing to me and that's what I will concentrate on for the remainder of my life.
